Experience on Both Sides of the Investment
Tandem is a Grenada-based real estate, hospitality, investment and advisory firm founded in 2015 by Richard Hallam and led today by Richard alongside Managing Partner Mark Scott.
Together, the partners bring more than 70 years of international experience across real estate, hospitality, resort development, investment migration, sales, marketing and operations — with particularly deep experience in Grenada and the wider Caribbean.
What distinguishes Tandem is practical experience.
Mark and Richard have not simply advised on investments and developments; they have acquired, financed, developed, marketed, sold and operated them. Their combined experience encompasses luxury resorts, boutique hotels, residential communities, marinas, golf courses, land development and citizenship-linked real estate, as well as working with governments, developers, institutional partners, family offices and private investors.
Between them, the partners have been involved in the development and operation of five golf courses, including one on which they worked together. This experience adds a further dimension to Tandem’s understanding of integrated resorts, leisure-led development and the operational realities of destination real estate.
They understand the priorities on both sides of a transaction: what makes an opportunity attractive to an investor and what is required to turn that investment into a commercially successful development or operating business.
Tandem applies that experience across three interconnected areas: real estate and investment, citizenship and investment migration, and hospitality and development advisory. This includes assisting investors seeking opportunities in Grenada, supporting developers from concept through delivery and sales, and working with existing hotels and hospitality businesses to assess performance, identify areas for improvement and implement practical strategies to strengthen operations, service, sales and marketing, and overall commercial performance.
Tandem combines international experience with genuine local knowledge. Its principals have spent decades working in Grenada, developing longstanding relationships across government, business, hospitality, real estate and the professional community.
